About Us

The Springfield Little Theatre is the oldest and largest civic theatre operation in Missouri, and one of the largest in mid-America. SLT produces a mainstage season of plays and musi als that are attended by som 50,000 southwest Missourians annually.

On September 9th, 2005, Disney's Beauty & The Beast took center stage at SLT, the culmination of over thirty costume designers and seamstresses brought to life through their exquisite detail to the production's costumes. These costumes are now available for rent. We encourage you to look through our site and see for yourself why the Springfield Little Theatre's costumes are a cut above.
